The price of the rooms and the rooms themselves are bare bones.Our room did not have a coffee maker or iron or ironing board - however, this was not unexpected as the website stipulates that not all rooms are equipped with these items.
However, we turned down our bedspread to find it caked and I mean caked with spots of dried blood on the underside along with other larger unidentified stains. The pillow case had dried paint on it and a face cloth was thread bare with holes around the edges.
They had turned off the heat to our room so when we arrived it was freezing. The back door does not required a card for entry and anyone can just walk into the hotel.
On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and the hotel does offer complimentary 'day break' breakfast.

We had made reservations at the Oaks Inn (next door) for the Wambo weekend. However, when we went to check in, we discovered we'd been accidentally booked for the wrong weekend, and they had no rooms available. So we went to the Days Inn. They, too, were fully booked - but took our name & cell number & promised to call us immediately if they had a cancellation. Luckily for us, they did. We had a wonderful weekend! Everyone was very friendly, and service was excellent. The rooms were clean, comfy, and very nicely decorated, and the free Continental Breakfast was delicious! We enjoyed our stay very much -- and yes, we will be back!

As a baseball mom.....our kids were in a tournament this past weekend in Wallaceburg,and we very much enjoyed our stay at the Days Inn!Not only was this hotel exceptionally clean,but the staff were exceptionally friendly,cheerful and very helpful. It was a very good experience and the Continental Breakfeast was a real bonus,as our kids helped themselves and off to the ball Diamond they went!!! We would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in the Wallaceburg area.I give it a 10!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is family owned and mostly family operated. The entire staff was polite and welcoming and very much so on a personal level. Freshly renovated rooms were clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast is included daily and there is a grocery store, video store and pharmacy all within walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in this area - it is only about 15 min from Chatham or Sarnia. A great hotel in a quiet little town!
