We had very little choice due to the fact we had to book a room last minute in Wallaceburgh for a funeral. It is right next to the Oaks Inn ( we have stayed there in the past, but thought we would try this place for a change) I guess we got the " suite" but it was a bit scary to say the least. Green shaggy carpet, no sheets on the pull out, dated and stinky comforters and curtains. I was able to open a window to air the place out a bit. The washroom looked " not too bad" but the door had smears of stuff on it. Again, just really dated and needs a good over-haul. Breakfast is a right by the front door, toast, stale muffins, apples, coffee and juice. Free- yes, but we ate at the Oaks Inn ( good for breakfast). Good location to walk to restaurants and shopping though. No pool, but the hotel next door, you guessed it, has one. We will be staying at the Oaks the next time we are in Wallaceburgh for a wedding this summer. Pets are allowed , they had a fridge and microwave..which were nice features. The man at the front desk was friendly as well.
