We stayed here in October for a wedding across the street. If you're staying in Perth you'll probably end up considering the Inn but it's not worth the cost. They're in receivership and it shows.

Although everything looks fine with the Inn, looks really are deceiving at this place!!! We were in a 1-bedroom suite which was a great size and had a nice view. There were 2 full bathrooms, 1 with a soaker tub, and I think both had heated floors. All great on the outside but once you start looking around you'll notice that the curtains don't close or keep the light out, the fixtures aren't finished (e.g. there's nowhere to put soap/shampoo in the shower except on the floor), and everything's a little on the cheap side (1-ply toilet paper, cheap toiletries). Not the end of the world, but you expect more for what you're paying.

A number of guests attending the wedding had issues with their reservations - generally being charged the wrong rate but one guest had her room given away to someone in another wedding group because they had similar names!

As another guest summed it up - they're a 2 star Inn trying to be a 5 star Inn and they're not succeeding. And it's not like they're cheap – a regular room was $159/night and our 1 bdrm suite was $239/night! Considering the motels in the area are well below $100/night, you expect great quality for that price!

My husband and I stayed here for a wedding on October 29th and we found the rooms to be large, quiet and beautiful. They have heated marble floors in the bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Staff are friendly and the continental breakfast was quite nice too. This place is excellent value for the money and it is in a beautiful location as well.

My husband and I spent one night here while in Perth for a wedding. It's likely the nicest place in town. We enjoyed our stay but we both expected more from what the website said and based on what we'd heard from others.

The room was enourmous and the king bed was very comfortable. Walking into the room it was nice and bright but this became a problem in the morning as the drapes are really just panels and they don't block the light, the hotel provides plastic clothes pins so that you can hold them together a bit but they still gape and let in a lot of light.

The washroom features heated floors which are a really nice touch and the hotel is centrally located although the staff had no idea where anything was.

Perth is a lovely, sleepy town with a lot of character, it's worth visiting for one night and from what I could tell the Code's Mill has the best location.
