Anyone with sensitivity to the smell of smoke or has asthma should never stay in this hotel. They have a small group of rooms designated for smokers and the remaining rooms as non-smoking. I asked the hotel clerk to give my family rooms at the far end from the smoking rooms. At night, when the rooms are occupied, the smoke goes through the vent systems and it's as though the smoker is sitting in the room with you. I am not exagerating. It is extremely uncomfortable.

A little background: We had a small wedding to plan in the kemptville area, so there is not much choice to select from that is in the range of 20min driving . We had seniors and young children in our group and could not stay in the rooms for even one night. So we ended up finding something in the south end of ottawa and doing the travel back & forth for the weekend. I had specifically asked the hotel clerk ahead of booking the group of rooms about the smell of smoke and was told that it was fine in the non-smoking section. So they are not very honest about the conditions of the rooms. It would be eaiser to be told up front and let the buyer be aware of what they are getting into especially when you are arriving after 10pm at night. It`s not fun having to find other accomodations so late and further travel time.

I've been staying here for more than a week now. As the title suggests, the rooms a spacious, comfortable and clean. Obviously it is not a five star hotel so I did not expect five star services here. For me the main thing is cleanliness and these guys provide that. Tv channels are a bit limited but I don't mind that cus the internet is free.

The room was disgusting. The carpet was so dirty I left my shoes on, even to sleep, which I didn't do alot of because there were spiders and ladybugs in the room. The toilet tank lid didn't fit the tank, the walls were full of water damage, the TV only had 13 channels, the batteries in the remote were dead, the pen didn't work. I was too tired to go somewhere else, but I will never go near this name again.

We (3 ladies) travelled to a conference in Kempville and the picture we got off the internet of the hotel room was nothing like what we encountered upon arrival. This place should be closed. The hallway to the rooms is disgusting and then enter the room. If they used 10 gallons of paint it would not be enough. The carpet was stained and stunki moldy mildewy (we wento ut and purchased candles and air freshners) the tub was all marked and the finish was gone on half of it. The back of the bathroom door was alla scratched like an animal had been locked in there. We would NEVER recommend this to anyone. The construction crew staying next door where very quiet..thank god!!! as that is the only good thing I have to report.
