We luckily only stayed one night, but the beds were not comfortable, especially if you're sharing a bed with someone. The bathroom was disgusting and the air conditioning barely worked. Very creepy and smelt like smoke everywhere. Definitely DO NOT recommend this motel, however it is difficult to find a hotel in Kemptville other than this one.

I am presently staying at this motel ..was very unsure after reading the reviews but i said to myself what the heck let me try it out , i was just begging that it be somewhat good if not the wife would just kill me..... i walked into the lobby it was a bit dated but smelt fresh and was very tidy. The front clerk was very friendly and pleasant . i said ok good soo far i was still in the good books with the boss(WIFE) .Grabbed my key and headed for the room hallways dated but were clean. opened the door ii was very happy mind you i was holding my breath scared of the reaction i would get from my wife, but it went very well i was happy and she was also happy .there was a fride and microwave plus in room coffee ,which was another main concern, so all in all the stay so far has been great ,mind you it is a bit dated but for the price you can not complain . i would recommend this place and would stay again.

This hotel needs updated, but we feel we got what we paid for. older, but clean and decent. Not much for breakfast, its not like the other howard johnsons we stayed in, but served the purpose.

That summarizes the hotel. we travelled with 2 kids and it was horrendously kept hotel. I wonder if Howard Johnson people have ever visited this place before they allowed this motel to be under their brand name.
Do not even think of staying here if you are travelling with kids!!
