Spent a long weekend at one of Woodhaven's cottages and had an awesome time. The cottage is cozy and has a spectacular view. The lake was beautiful, water was warm - offered great swimming. The owners are so friendly, made us feel very welcome and free to relax, let the dogs off the leash and kick back to enjoy. It was perfect. Can't wait to return.

From the moment you step out of your car, you are embraced as family. David, Michael, Nicholas & Kolwin take your comfort to heart. Sunny and Bailey are responsible in the greeting of the 4 legged guests. We had a fantastic time, the food was delicious, the view superb, the hospitality is gracious, Woodhaven Lodge is on our calendar as a "must do" a couple times a year. Can't wait to bring the family in the fall. The Woodhaven Family, thank you.

While our third time staying at the lodge, this was our first time staying there under the original owners and what a great stay we had! From the moment you enter, your every need is taken care of by David, and the relaxing and open atmosphere leaves you feeling content and already wanting to return for your next visit. And there is nothing that beats having your own personal, private hot tub outdoors listening to the trees in the wind with the sun on your face!

Woodhaven Lodge has all this and more! From our wonderful hosts, David and Michael and their two teen sons, to the beauty of being on Sandy Lake, and the seclusion the setting provided, to the amazing dinner, a wonderful library, and all-round congeniality and laughter, who could ask for more, really? Five sisters get together once a year to bond and share stories of the past, and basically have a great time and lots of laughs - Woodhaven Lodge provided the venue this year, but it was more than just a place to stay, it has become a place to return to in the future. The warmth and hospitality was beyond what any of us expected. We especially enjoyed the good food, and laughs provided by David. The dogs at Woodhaven are sweet, and even though none of us brought a dog with us, we all appreciated the fact that this was a dog-friendly atmosphere! The lake is beautiful, (as is the surrounding area - more and more scenic at every turn in the road!) and the views of it from our suite were fantastic. I can't say enough good things about Woodhaven! You'll just have to book a weekend there and see for yourself. Happy travelling! :)
