This was my second visit to Woodhaven and for the life of me, I can't understand how I left the first time!!! From the moment you make the drive down the driveway catching glimpses of the most pristine view - you'll never want to leave. The accommodations are amazing- they are spacious, comfortable and a slice of home even down to the smallest nuances that remind you of home placed carefully in your room. , David and Michael are culinary Masters and for this reason you should ALWAYS take advantage of the delicious meals offered. The view from everywhere on the property is spectacular and if you are looking for a tranquil, serene and peaceful place to come and do nothing, this is it. Or if exploring the many interesting sights so close by are for you, this should be your first choice to stay at. The added benefit of having this wonderful place be dog friendly was just another fantastic feature. I will be back again and again for as long as there are great hosts like David and Michael making my stay more special than the last time - every time!!!

Our only regret - TOO SHORT a visit. David's made some changes--stunning! My mom & I were a bit skeptical to come as we prefer a certain rm..David put us in the new "suite" WOW! My mom & I have found our wee bit of "Heaven on Earth" - we've travelled quite a bit, although this is the 1st place that one feels is "their own" HIGHLY ADVISE! a trip to Woodhaven!!! Counting down the days. -Literally! to the end of Aug, our next relaxing stay! Love, Lynne, Joan & Buddy.

This was our third visit to Woodhaven and we along with our dogs Dakota and Tinkerbelle went for 5 days over New Years.

We met the nicest people, had a wonderful New Years celebration with music and signing and lots of "drinks of a sociable nature".

David, Michael, Nicholas, Kolwyn, Dorthy & George you made us feel so welcomed and gave us the best of care.

You have not had a home cooked meal until David & Michael hit the kitchen, even Kolwyn showed his culinary skills.

Woodhaven Lodge is our home away from home, and we are booked for April 2011 with family for a birthday celebration.
