Basic accommodations in a convenient location, near the Canso causeway. Rooms are small, but sufficient for a night's stay. No restaurant on premises, but the Hearthstone Inn across the street has a restaurant (with slow service). Lobby staff seems pleasant enough, continental breakfast nothing special. Can't comment on indoor pool, as it was closed for repairs (the pool was a factor in choosing to stay at this hotel, so I'm mildly annoyed that it was closed).

We only stayed one night as we were travelling. I would not recommend it for anything more than a stopover. The room was small with 2 double beds. We could not get a queen which we prefer. There was rust on the electric heater in the bathroom. The hotel is on a highway and therefore traffic noise was constant. No restaurant service ia available but we followed the recommendations of the lady at the check-in desk and ate breakfast at the hotel across the highway and dinner at a local pub. Both the food and the service at those places was good.
The best thing about the place was the friendly lady at the desk.
The furnishings are worn but the bed did have a comfortable mattress.

I booked this Hotel on Priceline, got it for $45.00. The pool was closed because it was "off-season", even though it was a warm May day and the pool is indoor. The front desk lady the first day was very nice, helped us finding restaurants(Hotel restaurant closed for the season), area attractions, etc. The lady the second day was rude at best, my card key wouldent work and i went to the front desk to ask if she could re-code it. She snapped WHAT ROOM ARE YOU IN!? I told her what room i was in, then she threw the card at me and went out back. Great service. The room was O.K, shampoo and Lotion was in packets, not bottles. Beds were very soft, which i like, room was plain(see pics). One complaint was when i took my shower, the towel was brown and it scratched me, they were that rough. The door wouldent shut in the bathroom, and the main door you had to slam shut in order for it to shut propely. Another thing is that the ajoining door room handle was falling off(see pic). Also, i was shocked to see on the back of the door that the room rate for two people is $120.99! Ridicious! All in all, it was an O.K place to sleep, if you plan on doing anything else in your room, i would try another place. I would stay here again if i got a cheap rate. No way am i paying $120.99 a night!
