“A wonderful hostess”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 November 2011

We stayed at this lovely B&B while visiting the Bay of Fundy area. We had planned to go sea kayaking, but bad weather made it impossible. The proprietor of the Inn had all kinds of recommendations for alternate plans, and made our stay very pleasant. The rooms were lovely and clean, and breakfast was delicious. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

“great location for bay of fundy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 October 2011

We stayed in the Delivery Room. It was large and had a beautiful jetted tub/shower combo. The bathroom was narrow and only fit one person at a time. Towels were soft and new. I loved that the room had wine glasses, a wine opener and water glasses. There was plenty of closet space and a nice TV. The main improvement I would suggest is a mattress topper to make the bed softer as it was quite hard.

“Great Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 October 2011

We had a great stay at Maple Inn in the mid of september for an off season price. The huge room were lovely and everything welltaken. The bathroom clean and perfect. There were excellent tea, cakes and coffee for 24 hours and very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great and a lot of delicious choice. Two big extra rooms for guests for reading, TV......
I really can recomment this hotel.

“A Place Not To Miss”

Three years ago, my wife and I fulfilled a gpal of visiting a new place in N.S. every year. This particular time it happened to be Parrsboro N.S. As part of our plans, we came upon The Maple Inn. What a find this turned out to be. This B + B is owned and operated by a wonderful couple who immigrated from Vienna Austria about 8 years ago. They purchased this particular Inn and made it into something very special. They have made every one of their 7-8 rooms/suites into uniquely exquisite quarters. From a cozy BlackVelvet room to a magnificant King bed Empire suite with authentic Austrian antique furnishings. The couple owning and operating the Inn have done most of the decorating and renovations themselves. They are professionals who gave up successful careers in Europe to enjoy the quality life we sometimes take for granted here in N.S. Part of this experience is being self-taught in the art of decorating and renovation construction. By any standard - they have dome a magnificant job!! My wife and I have now stayed twice at this Inn enjoying two different suites and highly enjoying both. From the home made treats left for anyone to enjoy beside the fire place in the living room, to a high tech steam sauna/shower spa, there are many styles and many beautiful roome to choose from. The breakfast offered each day os second to none. It is like being at a 4-5 star restaurant - really! Try the home made jam! Please take the time to make this a destination whether you are travelling to see the Ship's Company Theatre, or to find a place just to get away. I would like to highly recommend this Inn as a very special place which is very affordable and most importantly - warm! It is a home away from home.

“Good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 September 2011 via mobile

This place was very clean and the breakfast was tasty with a large serving of fruit salad to start with. The only downside (and this is a personal observation only) is that I learned after checking in that this Inn used to be a hospital. That kind of creeped me out since I am sensitive to that sort of thing but thankfully, we slept through the night undisturbed!
