The loveliness of the experience began with the phone call to the property. Both people I spoke with were interested to help us book a room and make our stay happy. The only room available when I called was a room with twin beds, but I was told they would accommodate us with a double bed if possible--and they did! We stayed at the Lighthouse View house, different in decor from Campbell House (which was full--our reservation was booked on short notice), but clean and charming, with an enchanting view of the local lighthouse. The proprietor of the properties, Tinike Gow, communicates her love of the landscape with suggestions for walks and hikes. She also oversees the wonderful food at the Twine Loft restaurant. GO THERE! The food is simple, elegant, well-prepared and served, and the restaurant's walls are hung with paintings of local scenes that will delight you. You will fall in love with Trinity, and part of the reason will be the friendliness and professionalism of everyone at Campbell House, Artisan House, and the Twine Loft.
