stayed here several times over the years. this is NL at it's best. hospitality, great food, friendliness above & beyond what one might expect. Mister is some foolish, but that makes him all the more fun to stay with.

Although our stay was only for one night, Albert and Florence made us feel at home. The delicious evening treat of Crab and pastries accompanied by the warm conversations made our stay in the Harbourview one of our very favorites. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone, as Albert and Florence make everyone feel as if it's their home too.
It was a memorable trip, and we plan to return again in the future!

My wife and I stayed here two nights and loved it. In fact, we loved it so much we came back for another night the following week. It is a comfortable b&b with a nice breakfast and a wonderful nighttime "snack" of crab, homemade pies and cookies, coffee, tea and pepsi for Albert. But it is the hospitality of Albert and Florence that make this place special. Meeting them and talking with them and the other guests over crab each night was a highlight of our trip.

You may not need to book from home, but calling ahead when you are in Newfoundland is a good idea. Most nights it gets full, but often not until later in the day.

And the price is still $60 per night!!

The folks who own this B & B (Albert & Flossie) could not be nicer people. We were referred to this home by the lady who owns White's B & B, as she was full for the night. She then led us over there so we would not lose our way. Harbour View is within walking distance of several local historical buildings. We also enjoyed a wonderful supper at the Captain's Quarters just down the road. Don't miss the fried cod with scrunchions! Harbour View B & B is not a 5 star B & B - but the beds were comfortable, the place is a little dated - but clean and the Little's are genuine people who enjoy their little B & B.
