Stayed here in September 2010.
This was a one night stay as we were travelling to Whistler from Banff.
Sun Peaks is a long way from the Trans Canada Highway and Kamloops along a very winding road into the mountains.
Hotels is very central, quick checking, room was available despite arriving early.
Room was clean and fine for what we wanted. We overlooked the main street, and up one of the mountains. The hotel restaurant was closed, and there was not too much open in the town.
Sun Peaks was dead when we were there, weather did not help as it was raining the entire time, so may have given us a bad impression of the town. I would not recommend this resort in the summer unless you are walkers, or mountain bikers as there does not really seem much else to do.
