“Lovely hotel & great location”

This hotel provides wonderful amenities for a ski vacation at Sun Peaks. It is in a "ski-out, ski-in" location and has a ski-check for your skis (poles go the rooms). Three large out-door hot-tubs (although the jets usually don't work) and a sauna and swimming pool. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. We usually stay on the Signature Club floor which provides a continental breakfast in the morning. I haven't stayed at any of the other hotels in the village but visually this is definitely the best. My only "nit" is that the restaurant can be variable, but that is small "nit" when you look at the location, the comfort and the ambiance. We go at least twice a year to ski the mountains and we have never wanted to book any place else in the village.

Room Tip: We ask for the rooms facing the mountain as the rooms that face the parking lot can be noisy when pe...

Dear KathrynandTerry,

Thanks for providing feedback and comments regarding your recent stay with us at Delta Sun Peaks Resort.

I do apologize for the hot tub jets. We've had a couple small issues and our Maintenance team has addressed them to ensure they are working.

We'll also be sure to address any issues in our restaurant to ensure that this isn't a "nit" in the future.

Look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

Best regards,

“A terrific holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

My husband and I spent 3 wonderful days at the Delta Sun Peaks resort last week. From the minute we arrived, to the time we left, we were treated extremely well by all the staff. They definitely treated us with special care and I definitely got the opinion that guests were very important to them. We paid a little extra to stay on the ‘Signature Floor’ and this enabled us to receive a light breakfast each morning and a variety of appetizers each evening. This was a wonderful way to start and finish a day of skiing! Our room was of the standard size and organization. I was impressed by the spotlessness of the room….and I am known for being a bit fussy when it comes to cleanliness of my hotel accommodation! The only drawback from the stay was that the room did not have Wi-Fi. I could connect in the lobby so it was a bit of an inconvenience to leave the room when I wanted to ‘plug-in’ to the world . But, I guess I was on a holiday and one should take a break from outside stresses!

Room Tip: Try to get a room with a "mountain view".

Dear MSunshineS,

Glad to hear you enjoyed some powder here in the Resort during you stay with us at the Delta Sun Peaks Resort. We are definitely know for amazing powder here in Sun Peaks but we're definitely not an extreme skiing or boarding Resort.

You're correct - some blacks (tough ones), lots of blues and plenty of great greens. Perfect for all levels, families and kids.

Hope to see you back soon.

“So perfect for faimiles- maybe not for singles”

Spnt the week between x,as and news years here. It was great. Room service was kinda slackish and the room cards kept getting demagnetized. But the front desk was super responsive. The pool was PACKED after skiing- not relaxing if you didn't bring your own swarm of people and kids.

Food was good all around and the fridge in the room is nice to have for snacks etc.

Important- pay the extra to face the mountain and ask for top floors. The rooms facing the village were crazy loud at night when people were out late- had a hard time sleeping.

“Great Hotel, however...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

We stayed at this hotel during our week in Sun Peaks and apparently it is the best one in the village. I do believe this may be the case, however I must admit I am unsure whether I would have paid for our week spent there, had we not won our stay through a competition.

We were satisfied with everything in the hotel, except maybe for the fact that we were right next to the lifts on the second floor (room 238) and could therefore hear them moving up and down all morning and evening. Had we paid for the accommodation, we would have refused to stay in the room and asked to be moved.

The rooms were clean, big (although we just had the basic Delta room), warm and a comfy king size bed. As Sun Peaks is mainly a weekend resort due to the secluded-ness of the village and because it is quite a new resort, it was only busy when we arrived and as we were leaving. During the week the hotel was very quiet and we got the relaxation we were hoping for! We also attended a wine tasting event at the hotel as it was wine tasting week in Sun Peaks, which was a delightful event! We got a taste of all the local produce and the experience of meeting people from the area was lovely.

The hotel's own restaurant downstairs has really good food too, although we only tried the breakfast. Their pancakes and french toast (which they can also make with gluten free bread!) are amazing!!!

All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel for both couples and families!
