We stayed here for 1 night on our Vancouver-Calgary trip.
It was a pleasant stay: basic but clean, quiet room, reasonable priced. Free (simple) breakfast and WIFI. We had a very good evening meal in the pub/restaurant at the same complex.

The office staff were obliging, lots of parking, the room clean and quiet and a great looking restaurant nearby, although we didn't eat there.

This hotel must have change a whole lot since the first review I see from 2007. I agree totally with all the other reviews on this page.

NOT clean, dark; damp & dingy; NOT even reasonably priced for the amenities or lack of; staff neither informative nor helpful - just barely civil; not enough towels; sheets so thin you could literally see through them; no microwave, fridge or iron & board (all standards in every other Super 8); front office simply closed in the evening and was closed until 7am so we were unable to get on the road when we wanted to. The continental breakfast was passable - but only just.

We have traveled across the country several times and this the worst Super 8 I have ever stayed in.

Super 8 should be ashamed to have this place fly their colours!

Stayed here only because it was $44/night CHEAPER than the Best Western in Sicamous (where we stayed last year and loved). As soon as we opened the door I totally regretted not forking over the $44 extra/night. The room was dated but otherwise alright. Some of the towels were thin and ready to be used as rags. The bright side were they let us cancel after one night b/c of crappy weather so we appreciated that. Next year though - I'll be back at Best Western (sorry Super 8, you had your chance).
