“The best ski in ski out we have been to”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

Panorama mountain village is a very friendly place with excellent skiing for all. Although it is a small place it is ski in ski out with natural hot pools and hot tubs. The ski area is spectacular and vast with huge wide runs and no Q's for the many ski lifts. if you want to venture out of of the resort there is a free bus service provided to small town of Invermere with takes a 20mins. It takes a little longer to reach than banff etc but in our view os well worth it. a well kept secret by the Canadians. If you love to ski then this is the place. There is also night skiing available until 10pm, along with heli skiing snow mobile rides, ice fishing and the usual you would expect to find.

Room Tip: You can hit the ski lift with a snow ball from some of the rooms. Wow no hanging around waiting fo...

“Stunning Setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

We attended a wedding and enjoyed a weekend at this resort. Our room looked out over a common area and we could see/hear Tobey Creek. The layout of our suite was great for 3 couples and everything in the layout was good. As much as it served our purpose well given our focus of wedding activities, we were surprised at the outdated 'feel' of the accommodations including an old technology television and the ineffective fan system in the third floor bedroom. The weather was gloriously hot so all the heat rose and that hot air remained trapped upstairs - no air conditioning (understandable in Alberta) and no effective window opening/patio door. The stair system connecting the elevations of the property worked for us, the restaurant was good and the scenery absolutely stunning!

Love the hundreds of stairs. Absolutely brutal but at least it is only $300 per night.

“relaxing trip”

We spent a few days before the Christmas holiday, skiing and hot springing in BC. The resort was clean, friendly, and remained uncrowded and calm during our stay. WE went mostly to enjoy the skiing. The snow on the upper trails remained soft and fresh, however, as soon as you hit mid mountain, it became very icey, and as I didn't want to do black diamonds all day, this was a bit of a put off. WE loved having a condo (Tayton Lodge) right on the hill, with easy access to the hot springs. The village is fun, and convenient, and we loved being able to come back to the condo to grab a quick lunch or nap, or NOT. One day we ate at the lodge lunch room which had a reasonably priced, very diverse assortment or food. Had a stir fry, and cheese burger, both of which were delicious, but didn't break our budget. WE also had dinner one night at the Rustic Grill. ALL our food was wonderful, and our waitress helpful and thorough. This resort is super family friendly. WE would definitely go back and hope for better snow:)

Room Tip: We were particularly lucky to get an associate on the phone who helped us navigate in which lodge to...

“Panorama Shuttle”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 January 2012

We would love to go to Panorama Mountain Village, but were told that the Panorama Shuttle that we wanted to take was only available to guests who booked through Panorama. We didn't want to make the drive from Calgary and there really isn't anything else available. Last year when we took it, it was available to everyone and assumed this year would be the same. Fortunately there are lots of great ski resorts in BC and Alberta that we can go to.
