~Hosts were very friendly, relaxed and accommodating couple!!
~Bed & Breakfast place is spacious and clean.
~There is a common area in the living room that you could read their magazines, books, or play board games.
~We had the opportunity to stay in the Bumbleberry Room that had the soaker tub, walk in closet, bar fridge, private balcony, etc. (all listed on website)
~Checked out other rooms (Blackberry, Strawberry & Blueberry) and all looked clean.
~Landscaping: they have chickens in coops at the back, as well, self-draining duck pond and depending on season you'll see the ducks that reside there yearly. There is a large wrap-around porch from the back to the front of the house. Also depending on the season, you'll be able to see hummingbirds at their feeders.
~Breakfast: plentiful, MUST TRY their fresh eggs from their chickens!! Also available: fresh coffee & tea, orange juice, cereal, fresh fruit, plain yogurt, pasty items like muffins, ham + cheese croissant (really good), scrambled eggs.
~We drove by car and it was appx. 5-7 minutes from the ferry terminal, the instructions were quite clear from their website & Google Map. If you go in the Spring, drive carefully as we passed by many deers and fawns wandering around. There is parking available on the side of the house.
~We drove around and did little hikes recommended by the host, it was very lovely!!
~Lunch & dinner we tried little pubs located at the marinas and it was great!
Overall, great experience!!
