I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel, the photos don't do it justice! As stated in other reviews, the rooms were nothing fancy, a bit tired, but ours was clean & spacious enough. Beds were fine. Restaurant was great, service was wonderful. There is a pub & cold beer/wine store. My only complaint would be that the night staff at the front desk had 'no idea' if late checkout was available, so make sure to ask the day staff instead? Can't comment on the grounds, we visited in winter. Oh, & it was really easy to find the hockey arena, it is pretty close.
