My wife and I brought my two nephews out to see the Tyrell Museum, stayed 2 nights at the hotel, I think the kids liked the hotel better than the museum! Free movies, pool with a waterslide, and for us the free breakfasts saved us a bunch of money. The rooms were tastefully decorated and roomy, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and will stay there again when travelling in the area. Thanks to all the staff for their pleasantness!

This motel was simple to find, and full of little surprises. It had a feel of a B&B in some ways because of those little extras. Our room was a little more narrow than other motels we had stayed in, and the paint was a shade or two too dark. This made the room feel a bit like a cave. That, however, is my only criticism of this motel. Our room had a DVD player, and the front desk had a wide selection of movies that guests could sign out and borrow. The fridge included 2 bottles of water, and the coffee maker had a rag available beside it for any spills. They are little touches, but they add a lot. The beds were okay, and the Wi-Fi worked. The continental breakfast was the best of all the motels we stayed at during this trip. A full time hostess kept everything topped up and under control. This motel has a pool with water slide. We did not use it during our stay, but it looked clean and quite nice. I would strongly suggest staying at this motel if you plan to visit Drumhellar or any other areas near Three Hills.

As Super8 is not a chain we generally frequent, I was pleasantly surprised by this location. Simple yet clean rooms, great front desk staff, GREAT pool, hot tub and waterslide (fast!), and a full hot breakfast! Also, pet friendly ($20/night) and a decent-sized green space behind the hotel for doggo's pee breaks. 20mins or so from Drumheller's attractions (Dino museum, etc). Wish we could have spent more time in the pool! Only con might be the (apparent) lack of high speed internet in each room....you have to go to the 'biz centre', which is really just a computer in the lobby. No restaurant on-site, but there's an A&W across the parking lot, as well as some OK restaurants in the downtown (if you want alcohol with your meal, be sure to ask up front, as the restaurant we visited didn't have a liquor license!). Would stay here again.

The hotel is reasonable. I've stayed there countless times over the last 8 years and the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The complaint that I would have is in the older part of the hotel, some things really need a good and thorough cleaning, as well as some older and burned items need to be replaced. I've stayed in just about every room on the 1st floor, and it is almost like the rooms are neglected. Almost all of them could really use a fresh coat of paint, the carpets are in desperate need of a heavy duty steam cleaning, and in some cases, replacement where there are significant burn marks. The bathroom lino really needs a GOOD cleaning everywhere, not just the foot traffic path. I stayed at this hotel when it first opened, so I know how the standards of these particular rooms have gone downhill. A good facelift and proper cleaning procedures would really go a long way and make this frequent guest considerably more at ease. As a footnote to all travellers, the convenience store across the parking lot is OUTRAGEOUSLY OVERPRICED for everything including gas. Price gouging at it's finest. Far better to drive a few blocks down the road and get what you need at the Mac's store.(even the gas is on average 4-5 cents cheaper)
