very clean,nice outside door to room was very helpful unloading,hot popcorn and cookies in lobby,very nice people,perfect spa pool area,cant go wrong staying here.

First time we'd stayed at a Super 8 Motel and was pleasantly surprised. Doesn't appear to be a huge amount of choice in Rocky Mountain House and booked this hotel based upon Trip Adviser reports.

Hotel is on the edge of town and within 5 minute (1 mile) drive of the town centre- we did attempt to walk but thought better of it.

Hotel is well equipped and comfortable and good value for money in comparison with other local hotels. The great selling point for the Super 8 is the buffet breakfast which was probably one of the best hotel breakfast buffets we've seen. As we were driving to Jasper that morning it was most welcome.

We would recommend Grillers as a good local restaurant

This hotel looks pretty good, is modern and has some good facilities but is let down in the details. Some big crumbs left on the floor reflected lack of care in cleaning, the dining table had a wobbly top which was barely attached to the base, resulting in a dangerous situation, and the kitchen was missing half of the items listed on the door (which came with a notice threatening to charge for any losses). Mentioning this to the front desk staff drew only a shrug. In fact the complete lack of interest or warmth from the front desk staff member on each interaction coloured our impression overall. On the plus side, the pool/water slide was top notch, the breakfast facilities and quality were excellent and the free popcorn was a hit with our kids. Rocky Mountain House National Historic Site (free entry with Parks Canada pass) is well worth a visit.

The breakfast was ample, the room (including bathroom) imaculately clean. Pool and waterslide nice, if a bit small. Hot tub has great jets and was super hot.
