Excellent service when booking on the phone. Warm welcome when we arrived. Property was undergoing renos but this was not a concern to any of us.
Cleanliness: our room itself was clean but the toilet had old diarrhea on the underside of the seat from a previous guest. This problem was promptly addressed once they were made aware of it. The door to our room had to be slammed very hard in order for the door to lock. Apologies to our neighbours around us.
The hallways could do with a wipe down and a vacuum.
Breakfast : very limited - no fruit- no yogurt - no hot items ie eggs, bacon etc. selection of cereals poor. We stayed at Holiday Inn Express a few nights later where breakfast was included and they provided these items and more.
Exercise room: advertised but is not available yet for use.
We have stayed at different Super 8s before and they have been clean and satisfactory. Hopefully these comments will be looked upon as considerations for improvement rather than criticism.

The hotel was just average, a clean place to stay at a cheap rate. The major problem was not with the motel but with Pincher Creek. The town is situated in cattle country. From the time you enter until the time you leave all you smell is the pungent odor of cow manure. You smell it in the motel, in restaurants and anywhere you go. My advice is hold your nose and keep traveling until you find clean air.

As a person who spends 35% of his year in hotels/motels, I would have to rate this place as tied with the Best Western in Fort Nelson, BC as the worst front desk service I have ever had.
Since the family kids were camped out in the front lobby watching tv, it only took them ten minutes of me asking for help, for them to leave the tv and find their mother to book me in.
Professionalism and courtesy is not in their management plan.

The Super 8 in Pincher Creek is just what you expect from a Super 8 Motel. The rooms are clean, the staff helpful and the morning coffee tasty. The narrow corridors and winding staircases were the only drawbacks I can remember, especially if you are older.
