“Good Location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 August 2011

New(er) hotel, good location. Close to Walmart. Large double queen bedroom (fridge, table, two chairs). Quiet location if you do not need to use very loud A/C. Acceptable breakfast - small breakfast area.
Parking is a bit harder a lot of cars present, not to much room to back-up.

Room Tip: Ask for double queen room.

“Had a blast with our friends!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 July 2011

Well, we went to Waterton for the Canada Day weekend. Obviously, everything in Waterton was taken and Pincher Creek was choice #2. We stayed at Super 8. We got rooms in the basement, which we weren't crazy about. But, since we were a large group, we had a blast as we had three consecutive rooms to ourselves. The rooms are pretty basic, but surprisingly clean and even the basement rooms had natural light streaming in. The hotel is close to a lot of amenities- Walmart, places to eat, etc. There isn't a restaurant in the hotel. Bottom line-its basic, and a tab bit overpriced but it serves the purpose.

“At least it is close to Waterton”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2010

Since staying in Waterton is very expensive, we opted to stay at this Super 8. The price of the room was high but there are not a whole lot of options near Waterton. The room seemed old and worn and I had to make sure the stain was on the mattress pad and not the sheet before I would get into bed. The elevator and common areas were dirty to the point that I would not use the ice machine. I asked the lady at the front desk to make a copy for me and she was pretty crabby about it. I even offered to pay her. There is good Pizza next door, an A&W and a McDonalds (all within walking distance). Don't think we would stay there again.

“Average for one night”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2010

At the time of the stay, this hotel was going under renovations. Only stayed one night after a day in the Elk Valley area in British Columbia, and planned on visiting Glacier National Park in Montana next day. Also stayed for a night in November, and the expeirence was the same. The rooms are okay, and your close enough to A&W, and Wal-Mart 3km south of highway 3. You're also close to a farm, and you'll find that out when in the parking lot. The layout is a little confusing when you walk in to find your room, but the service at the front desk was great. My asterik for recommendations is, I would say this place is good enough for a night stay, not so for multiple nights. The Ramada in the same area is probably the better bet if you're staying for multiple nights. Haven't stayed there to give a review. Like other Super 8's, you get a free breakfast.

“Inexpensive and Serviceable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 July 2009

My wife and I stayed at the Pincher Creek Super 8 for an evening. We spent the day in Waterton, crashed in Pincher Creek and then headed into Glacier the next day before heading home. The hotel is very conveniently located about 20 minutes from the Waterton townsite and would be a good choice if a hotel was unavailable in the townsite itself (or the price of a room in the townsite was less than palatable). We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful and the room with a king sized bed we got was very large and extremely clean and well maintained. The continental breakfast was decent and check out very painless. At the time we were there the hotel was being renovated so there was a bit of dust in the lobby but the rooms and halls themselves were clean and well cared for. We'd definitely stay here again. If you're looking for a no frills, inexpensive hotel near Waterton Nation Park or the Crows Nest Pass, this is a good choice.
