As with most everything in northern Alberta prices are ridiculously inflated. Two teensie pieces of fish, a few fries, and a beer = near $30. And then there's the breakfast buffet - tried it both days that we were there. Both days it was not laid out and ready to go until well after the posted time. The pancakes that looked old and curled on the edges looked even worse on day two. I'm sure I recognized some of the bacon and sausages from day one, still laying in the warming tray on day two. I never knew that the contents of one of those little individual 'jam packs' could congeal to such an extent that it was less than a third full and the 'glop' ('cause it sure wasn't jam) was unspreadable. As to the 'fresh' fruit... not so much. Room was OK but certainly overpriced. Were it not for the 'take what you can get' state of affairs in northern Alberta at present I certainly wouldn't be going back.
