The hotel is pretty run down and smells awful. Time for a revamp or something. It was one of those you get what you paid for kind of things, I should have been more leary when it was only $39 a night. I stayed here as a last resort for work because other hotels were full and I can not imagine staying here again even out of desperation!!!

I personally have no problems with select inn. I have stayed here atleast 6 times and never had one bad experience. Staff has been very friendly. Rooms may be out dated but are clean and its not like one pays $100 a night. I will only stay here when i come to minot.

The hotel was very aged, needed a good cleaning, and better management. We were rudely awakened at about 2am by people across the hall; this went on for a few hours. Our complaints to the front desk clerk were useless. Talked with the manager the next morning and he said it was not his fault. What an answer! You can bet we will not be back..

My wife and I have stayed a week, TWICE, at this motel and it is very nice for the money. Its not the Ritz, but its very clean, quiet and safe and comfortable. The best part is the people there. Very nice. They helped us with problems above and beyond the call of duty. A pleasant stay both times. We will be traveling back to Minot again this year, and we would not consider staying anywhere else.
