Great place to stay with kids while shopping...hot breakfast served downstairs, quiet (unlike those reviews previously!), nice walk to mall. Our daughter was just getting over the flu when we stayed here and decided at 10:30 that night she would like some soup. I knew they had a pot of soup in the breakfast area, but when we got there, they had put it away. They opened the fridge for us and gave her anything she wanted...THANK YOU!!! Great staff, friendly! One even gave us tips on shopping and where to go to find unique things. Definetly will stay here again!

I had a much better stay here than at the Grand International despite not having Internet access 2 of the 4 nights. Luckily, was able to drive a short distance to the Barnes and Nobles bookstore and get Internet there.

My room was great - exactly what I expected and clean + it came with a microwave and refregerator. The refrigerator was a little noisy, so I just unplugged it at night.

Hotel lobby offered real food for free every evening - soup one night, pasta on another night. Breakfast offering was fairly extensive. I also liked that a restaurant was right next door. It solved the problem of where to go the first night for dinner.

At the Fairfield you are at the other end of town. Broadway is very busy and pretty much the main route to get back towards the village, state college and airport.

If you get accomodation here via Priceline this hotel treats you like an outcast and puts you in their (we only rent it during a winter storm). So be prepared for a litle tiny double bed and a huge TV and a broken down fridge and no where to sit so you perch on the bed. But then maybe all the rooms are this size.

I have stayed here on several occasions and haven't had any complaints. Our room was clean, the staff was friendly and the free breakfast was better than most.
