We originally booked 4 nights here at the start of our two week trip, but loved it so much we stayed an extra night! It's a beautiful hotel, bright and airy, very fast room service!
Our room overlooked the pool (I think they all do!) and was decorated in cream and gold.
Wonderful bathroom, though shower a little weak. Reception staff extremely helpful,
recommending nearby restaurants as well as their own. Wedding ceremony in progress by the pool as we arrived, which was lovely. You can have breakfast indoors or by the pool, and quality of food was excellent. Very impressed, and would definitely staff here again. Booked on hotels.com and got 4 nights for price of three, but then paid 86 euro for the extra night, which for the standard of this hotel was very reasonable.
For old world charm, it should not be missed - especially the little birds flying to and from their nests under the eaves! Wonderful place.

Arrived there with 2 friends for a short trip to Varna a few weeks ago.

We booked into a suite and had a cracking deal (2 nights and get 1 free), which worked out to be less than 30 euro per person per night

Our friend picked us up from Bourgas airport, I didn't realised that Bourgas was actually about 2 hours drive from here and was very gratefully for the lift. The road is hilly and often single laned. My friend was driving an Audi Q5 (great car!) and was quite speedy!

The hotel has wired broadband connection (very very tempermental) but at least was free. It also has a decent outdoor pool and indoor (plus massage/beauty service and a small gym)

The room has a balcony (mine has view of the forest!) mini bar, hair dryer and kettle. 2 gripes... no safe and the shower... let's just say the bathroom floor will be very wet after you wash!

The breakfast was included, although limited but did the job. Also eaten in the restaurant and was surprised with the "Hare Stew" which was very very tasty!

The beach is about 5 minutes walk away (in the sun) and you'll pass a host of shops selling beach towels to postcards. There are also food stores (Lidl?) that was handy for water and snacks for the hotel room. Also a host of restaurants were there too (wish i knew about them before i dined at the hotel!)

Ventured to Golden Sands beach and the area was full of Germans, all were friendly and fun. A bit too commercial but good nightlife (go to Arrogance nightclub. Expensive but the dancers and staff are so beautiful!

Would i go back to Varna, definitely! and for the hotel? why chance anywhere else?

Great hotel , indoor(warm ) and out door pool , kids out door pool and small play area , great breakfasts always hot continental and british style .Restuarant food traditional, bulgarian .
Spa treatments available , but I didn't have any .
we stayed in the hotel , but I also had a look at the apparments which are great value and very large only 75 euro for two doulble bedrooms and a very spacious kitchen, diner ( table for 6 ) lounge . and that also came with the breakfast .
Great staff all speaking english including the cleaners .
Walk past the pool and you are by a couple of super markets , a stalls selling all sorts ( including british papers, sunday times 9 leva), there is also a road to the beach , this area is run down and needs some TLC for sure , lots of leafy trees and sunshine cover a host of maintence issues .
The hot spring on the beach is worth a look , the hot water pour in from green overflow pipes and the ancient art of social bathing goes on amongst dicarded coke bottles ect , and incredible healing properties are atributed to them.

A very good hotel.
