I stayed at Paradise Green apts in July 2007 and found that although I cant complain about the apartments themselves the location was an absolute nightmare. They are located right on a very busy main road and the Bulgarian drivers are very aggressive and give absolutely no right of way to the pedestrian. Also on the way downhill into the resort the pavements are full of broken slabs and are an absolute hazard!! The road is poorly lit at night and it is almost impossible to walk down into the resort at night (it gets dark at 9pm) i had to get a taxi every night.
i would never recommend these apartments to anyone due to the very poor location although to be fair the location wouldnt be so bad if it wasnt for the main road and bad driveres and broken pavements

We have been to Golden Sands three times so I guess we like it.

The Paradise GP apartments are large ,well appointed and well maintained
It is a new development ( completed in August 2005 ) and has a great pool , pool side bar, Irish bar , restaurant and small gym. The bar is generally quiet in the evenings most guests go into the resort .
They are located about 600 M from the centre and the beach and 5 mins walk from the water park. There also is a riding centre in the forest behind the apartment block
It is quite hilly but there is a small tourist train that takes you to the beach if you don’t like walking. ( Pick up near the Diana palace Hotel )
The standard of furnishing is very good and the apartments are kept clean . Most have cable TV although there are only a few English channels.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
Golden Sand’s resort is great for children with lots of attractions.
Varna is a short bus or taxi drive away and is a great place to visit.
But make sure you agree a price for the taxi the bus costs about 20p each by comparison and the bus stop is next to the apartments.
