I was moved to the Hotel Berlin Golden Beach when my reservation with Kaliakra palace was cancelled. I made a reservation through the site Motoroads.com.

Instead of booked twin beds I got a single bed, sea view was replaced with a side sea view. It was stinky odor from the bathroom. The food was terrible, no fresh juices, no salads except for Shopskiy. The biggest problem to get some mineral water in the bar, it was supposed to be free of charge. The barman was always off exactly when you want to drink some mineral water. The attitude of the staff at the reception was bad unless you were German.

I was in Golden sands three years ago, since that time everything has changed in the resort to the worse.

And more never change money in exchange kiosks in the Golden sands. This is a well organized deceit in front of you.

Booked 3 non smoking sea facing rooms with balcony...Got 3 Very Basic smoking rooms facing CAR PARK on 5th floor which stunk of meat cooking at 3 in the morning...Met the ''manageress'' who had a really bad attitude (as did all the staff) the next morning. Reluctantly gave us what we paid for. Paid for 6 people half board, Waste of money if you like decent food. Breakfast o/k if you are GERMAN, if not,Toast is Toast. Dinner o/k if you are GERMAN or you like food catered for GERMANS. There are some very good restaurants at very good prices,with great food,and good friendly service.We tried a different one every night. If they can cook & present food that good, then why can't a 4(HA HA) star Hotel???
