the hotel is ok ( it is clean, the rooms are ok ), but the people who work there made it the worst hotel i've seen in my life. They are very rude ( begining with the manager and finishing with the housemaid ) and not trained for their job. Also, the restaurants of the hotel are very small comparing to the hotel capacity, and at lunch and dinner you have to stay in line to get some food wich, by the way, is very bad ( i have to eat somewhere else because of the quality of the food they were serving at the hotel restaurants ). Anyway, to end this review, think twice before booking this hotel.

I have to say I'm a bit surprised by the very negative comments of others, I visited the Helios with my 3 kids last August and we all really liked it. Rooms were very good and spotlessly clean, pools were great, staff all very friendly - especially the entertainment guys who my kids all loved. The food was a little plain and didn't vary much in our stay (hence the loss of a star in the rating) but there was plenty of salad, pasta, chicken, pizza and ice cream - which was fine by my kids at least. All in all I found it good value and would recommend to anyone on a budget.

The helios hotel isnt too bad rooms ok etc. but the food is by far the most disgusting, foul, repuslive, gag reflex testing, dirty filthy, rotten regurgitated, smelly rot! everything smells of steamed rotten fish. the pool was ok except i heard a few reports of people getting ear infections but i suppose this could be coincidence and nothing to do with the pool. the animation staff were ok but annoying when they wake you up from sleeping by the pool to ask you to do gymnastics, the arrival of a few benefits cultured jeremy kyle type families spoiled the relaxation a bit but i suppose you can get that anywhere. the town has some ok food places (which after the second day we used frequently due to the sheer wreching brought on by the food in the all inclusive restaraunt) however be prepared for the sheer non stop harrassment of people trying to get you into their places. all in all would not go back here due to having higher standards

I spent a nice week in this hotel, clean rooms and the hotel is always impeccable. The breakfasts are hearty and animation all day warranty with "the pretty Mimi" and her colleagues. The staff is very friendly.
