The hotel was not bad, clean, very close to the beach . What i liked the most was the food! really great. The only thing i didnt like was that the last day (we were going to leave the same night) the woman who was cleaning our room told us (very impolitely) to take our food out of the frig because she's going to lock it, so that we do not eat anything from their refrigerator before we leave (she's finished her work and was going to go home and couldnt check the frig at night). I told her that we still have many hours and our drinks and food would be damaged, if i take them out and put in the room (hot august) . She said "not my problem"!!! dont they train their staff???? Also, they did not allow to take out any kind of food from the restaurant, which is ok I guess, but once i saw how the waiter talked extremely rude with a russian girl who was taking out an apple. He ordered her to eat it and then leave and stayed next to her until she ate the whole apple!!! i know that there are rules, but there are also some rules of hospitality and what's the difference where she's eating her apple in the restaurant or outdoors??...I also remember that our guide said that if we gave 10 Euro to the reception girl we'll get a better room, but i refused as we've already paid for a sea-view room in Yerevan to our tour-agent and were not going to pay again... I stayed there in august 2007, hope things are different now...in general i noticed that the staffs at the european hotels are not as polite and nice as for example in dubai etc The hotel was good in general, but the stuff needs to be trained i guess.
