Well, I pretty much do not understand why those reviews I read were not very pleasant because, from my point of view, this hotel is a real 4-star one, and I'm glad my friend and I stayed there. It's actually a story how we occurred to stay in that concrete hotel: we bought Aktinia but it was full at the time and our Russian travel agent didn't know about it, so we were told that we would stay in Nobel only in the bus from Varna airport. Fortunately, we did not regret it any second.
First of all, it has got convenient location: just in between Nesseber and Sunny Beach (not more than 20 minutes by foot each way). It means that there is not so loud as it is in Sunny Beach with its night clubs and bars, and not as quiet as in Nesseber. There is a Serbian restaurant near the pool, so you will sleep only when animation there comes to an end (around midnight or so), or in case you really want to sleep (it will be every single day, trust me - after swimming and walking and whatsoever, and beds are magnificent: you'll want to sleep in them even in day-time!).
Second, the room was gorgeous: plenty of space, cute beds, red carpet on the floor, comfortable armchair in front of a coffee table, two big mirrors (and, you know, girls like it very much), new TV set with amazing music channel City.bg (it's a 22nd button). But the thing we liked most of all was a pretty big balcony with a straight pool-view and a side sea-view. There we spent our first hours in Nobel...
Third, the room was cleaned every day very well, and our pijamas were put in such a cute way on the beds by housemaids=)
From my point of view, the cook deserved 5 star:) I took the receipt of a delicious chicken in cream and will definitely cook it for my family some day! Of course, breakfasts were the same every day, but it was normal, I guess. At least, the number of dishes was enough for us: boiled eggs, fried eggs, omelette, toasts, cornflakes, brynza pies (the best ones!), pancakes, fruit and vegetables. We always took some peaches and pies to the beach. What about dinner is concerned, there was shopsky salad (my favourite) and 3 other salads, several kinds of meat, boiled vegetables, mashed potatoes, pommes frites, macaroni, two kinds of soup (very tasty), and pizza; fruit and sweet things (ice cream, cakes and fruit salad). I can remember just two dinners I did not like that much, but still I didn't starve at those evenings=)
The personnel was nice, especially head waiter - he always talked to us and made our mood rise. But some waiters were like "sleepy flies" (we call it this way in Russia) and didn't take our dirty plates in time. I guess it was a revenge for our not ordering drinks while having dinner.
All in all, Nobel was like home to us during those two weeks, and I would definitely recommend it to everybody. I didn't like the amount of Germans at the beginning of our stay because we felt like intruders into their community, but in two days we got used to it, and now I have only positive emotions recollecting past two weeks=)
