“Relaxing holiday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 August 2011

Let me begin by saying that this hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels where we stayed. The staff is very helpful, all smiling when they go to and if more slip and Bulgarian words and you gave ready:). Room where we stayed was great, clean linen and towels changed daily, not to the hotel is great. In conclusion accommodation is really 4 *.

Now let's get to the food side: confirm that food rather disappointing and shows that it is not the main attraction of the place. Every day is pretty good eating if you stay to make a "small selection" and still find something to please you. In conclusion, food is 3.3 * (That's because I ate at the restaurant 3 * and is a small difference).

I left at the end an issue that may need to start: Parking

If you go by car is good to know that the hotel has a small parking in front and another behind the hotel Amphora (where accommodation costs 10 BGN car / day). However when you go by car staying in the hotel car park barrier and horn, in no case leave the car on the street (unless they are marking the car will be built and if you find the car wheel markings for parking are stuck with paying and must be paid before parking car parking places marked with a blue line).

I insist on this issue with parking because we had the "pleasure" to find grip on the front wheel of the car and have to pay 30 leva and unlock because I went near the car (for max. 5 min.) And I last car on a parking place in the "blue line". Boys who are responsible for parking are like eagles hunting for newcomers who do not know the rules, so parking should be paid as the barrier to enter resort (subscription of 50 leva / week) for that peak is the most convenient parking and you and freedom of movement for anywhere in the state where parking see the blue line you can park without fear that you will pick up your car or have to pay something in May.

Final conclusion: did leave a small shadow at the beginning of phase with parking.

“Warning this hotel is really crap”

All inclusive hotell. Hardly any cocktails to choose from.
The food is really bad and i mean really bad. Not even my dogs would eat it. I'm not a fussy eater, but this was bad! The staff was very ignorant. This is not a 4 star hotel. Talked to quite a few other guests, everyone felt the same. Bloodstains on the pillows. Hard to understand the staff, since the didn't speak english. Not enough sun beds, don't expect to get one unless you're up at the crack of dawn. Crowded beach.
Swaped hotel after 3 days.

“Seen better places”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 July 2011

It was a holiday trip and we stayed for 7 nights. The location of the hotel is good if you do not want to stay in the center of the city. This area is more silent and only a few bus stops from the inner parties. Nesebar is also closer to this location and you can have the small "train" to get to the gates of this beautiful old town.

The staff was not helpful at all, always had to wait to get one's attention in the service desk. The room was spacious but the cleanliness is a problem. You'd better clean the bathroom with some disinfectants like Domestos.

The food was enough but quite boring. The same on every day and the selection was poor even for the All Inclusive guests like us.

It has a pool but crowded and you have to walk a few minutes to get to the hotel's private beach which is also crowded. You can get discount for the sunbeds but there are only a few so you have to be quick to purchase one for the day.

The prices are more than reasonable outside the hotel, so you'd better not choose the All Inclusive service and have launch or dinner on a restaurant nearby. I personally recommend the Old Anchor in Nesebar.

Overall feeling of the hotel is quite mixed. I only recommend for people who are not too sensitive and have a willingness to look around the neighborhood. I would not return again.

“Nice hotel, bad food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 July 2011

Imperial Hotel is guite a nice hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable with a large bathroom with shower. Safety box in the room but you have to pay for it, 5 leva per day. Pretty nice view over the Black Sea, if your room is facing that direction. Pool area is great but the sun beds should have madrasses. And the pool bar should open much earlier, not at 11 am as it does now but at 9 am, as most guests arrive at the pool between 8 and 9 am. Fine beach some 400 meter away but the sun beds at the beach are quite expensive. The hotels location is very good with a little shopping area just outside the hotel with supermarkets that are open until very late in the evening. Close to the hotel there are small trains that takes you to Sunny Beach Centre or to Nessebar for only 3 leva (1.5 €) per person. The hotel has wi-fi which works perfect even in your room (but costs 50 leva = 25 € per week). The hotel is rated 4 stars - worth it except for the food which is tasteless and almost always cold or lukewarm (the pizzas at the garden restaurant is though quite good). Although all guests had all-inclusive there was never any problem to get a table. If the management could improve the food quality the hotel would definitely be worth the 4 stars.

“Perfect for a relaxing summer holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 July 2011

I just couldn't say anything wrong about this hotel. The food was excellent, the staff was very friendly and it was clean too. Obviously, we had to wait about 30 mins in a line if we wanted to eat pizza or pancakes but it was absolutely fresh.
Our boiler didn't work for the first time, but they repaired it in 2 hours while we were at the beach. And if it's raining you can't do anything, because the spa is pretty expensive and massages are short and there is cold water in the jacuzzi.
All in all it was a fantastic holiday but next year we wanna try Hotel Ruby, because it's much more cheaper but everything is the same good.
