I stayed at the Hotel Dobrotitsa with my 3 and 5 year old. I really enjoyed my stay. The room was small but it had a great bathroom with a nice, hot shower and excellent water pressure. Our room was clean but small, I liked th a/c, it was new and worked well! The food was plentiful and sometimes very good, lots of choices for kids and adults. I liked the mini club for my children, but I did not like how my kids were running in and out of the mini club, the person minding the children didn't seem to notice they were gone! The pools were great, especially for my kids, the kiddie disco was a lot of fun and the show every night was fun. I liked doing karaoke! The animation crew were great! The proximity to the beach and the quality of the beach were excellent. This resort is close to many attractions in Albena. Overall I would say it is an excellent value and a great place to take kids.

Went here with my 8 yr old son and mother..Big mistake. In the brochure it looked and sounded great..NOT! We paid for half board but ended up eating out, food was vile and luke warm .In brochure it said there was a kids club which my son was looking forward to..but we were not from the right country, it was only for east european kids. Pool area was quite nice, Until we were told we had to pay for sunbeds..so we went to the beach where the beds were cheaper. The resort outside looked lovely, a nice promenade to walk alongside the beach, well, during the day anyway. There is a street market at night which is nice..That is until you find yourselves surrounded by prostitutes..Legal there. Was eating dinner with a couple on our 3rd night when 2 ladies came and offered the husband a certain lewd act for a small amount of lev (their currency) and had to try and deter my son from asking what it was she wanted to give him! We told her to go away thinking that any minute the restaurant staff would come over and tell her to go away..but they didn't, they just stood back and watched!! would i go back..NOT ON YOUR NELLY!!!
