“Just ok, not much better”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 December 2011

Arrived here late one night this August on a cross country trip.
The place was packed and so service was pretty much non existent.
Had to lug in the bags from far away, as noone knew where the luggage buggies were,
or cared for that matter. It was barely all the kid at the desk could do to check us in, after that
he wasn't much help.

The room wasn't half bad, considering the price, and we had one overlooking the pool, so it wasn't that bad.

It's disappointing though that the pool opens so late in the day, so that the kids can't have a swim before we leave the next morning.

So if your stay is just for the night, in and out, quick dip in the pook ,breakfast and out, you'll be alright.

Room Tip: face into the courtyard or away from the main road.

“Excellent. Newly renovated. Great customer service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

Wonderful hotel. Baller brown leather chairs, in the lobby. New computer. Gigantic breakfast. Stayed in the Sleepy Bear room. It was beyond cute. I really love everything about this place. My room was spotless. Could literally eat off the floor. Great 24 hour pool and spa. If you really hate money. Spend more for less. Top recommendation. From Corporate Travel Agent.

Room Tip: Sleepy Bear room is super cute. Room 111. Avoid rooms, on back side of pool. Loud nightclub; next t...

“Excellent Hotel Travelodge Grand Forks!!!Best in Town”

We stayed at the Travelodge hotel in Grand Forks, ND in September 2011.Our stay was excellent. Hotel is close to Columbia mall, and K-mart shopping complex. Close to almost every restaurant in town and their rates are extremely good according to the area. There are many hotels close to the mall who charge arm and leg to stay for one night but at travelodge rates are really good. Nice large indoor heated pool, its big and warm. Beautiful large hot tub and nice breakfast.Hot waffles, 2 type of cereals, 2 type of juice, reg and skim milk, wheat and white bread toast bagels and fruit, I do not understand why people always complain. This is a hotel not a restaurant. If you need very nice hot breakfast please go to perkins or some other place. over all this is a nice place, close to everything in town and great for UND parents and everyone else who wants to stay in Grand Forks.

“Basic but worn”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2011

The hotel was a good basic hotel. The room was ok - mattress was old and worn and water pressure in the shower was just above a trickle. The free breakfast was nothing special - run of the mill for mid to low level hotels of today. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The Swimming Pool and Big Hot Tub is great for kids of all ages. Staff were very accomodating and took care of any thing we needed very quickly. They have a free continetal breakfest but you had to arrive early for best selection.Everything about our stay was perfectely nice and Overall our stay was excellent and I would recommed this hotel to anyone coming to Grand Forks.

Room Tip: Rates are very good compare to other hotels in town.
