I stayed with them for the first time, and I was very pleased with the affordable pricing compared to other motels in the area. The rooms were very clean and the managers were very pleasant. I would highly recommend this motel, if you stay in Grafton.

We have stayed here twice now, once when it was a Super 8 in 2005 and last month as a Select Inn( it was the same manager for both) and we will never stay there again.

The reservation was booked on the Select Inn website. The manager came out in his pajamas and told us he had given away our room all he had left was a smoking room with a queen bed (There was 3 of us and 2 have allergies).

The room was small and looked run down. Thin flat pillows, air conditioner barely worked, and the cable had no end to screw on the tv,it was just a little piece of wire shoved in the back so all the channels had static.

The manager explained the next day that there was a conference in town and they had more people than expected staying with them. If we stayed another night he said he'd make it up to us.
Needless to say, we didn't stay another night.

I'm not usually one to complain, but I have never stayed at a worse hotel in my life. The manager and his wife were very polite and apologetic about this incident, but it will take a lot more
than 50% off of a one night stay for me to even consider ever going back again. Spend the extra money and go across the street to the Americinn.
