This was a last minute trip, just an overnighter. I confess I picked it because of the price, but this was anything but cheap and nasty. The room was a little oddly set out (sink NOT in the bathroom) but that was all. Plenty of storage, nice TV (not that we spent a great deal of time watching it). There's a bar here which also serves food. The staff are super friendly (John, Kristen and her sister). The reception staff are nice too. Yes, I would stay here again.

This is a great hotel to stay at. Good price- I paid 40$/night. Renovated with new beds, comfortable sheets and a flat screen tv. Very nice place I must say- you will be surprised.

I've stayed here 3 times now and each time I was impressed with the cleanliness. This time I had a more expensive room as there were 3 of us and I needed more than 1 bed. We stayed on the second floor and I was impressed with the room. It was more stylish than the other cheaper rooms I had previously booked on the first floor. Again, no cleanliness issues here. Everything is well maintained. The breakfast is the usual; waffle maker, toast, cereal....good. Front desk is friendly. This is consistently a good hotel as witnessed by their rating. Also one of the cheapest in the city without compromising quality.

We loved the improvements to this awesome little lodge!! It has always been a good value place to stay for one or two nights but now, it has a nice little lounge, snacks and likely the best beds in the area!! We had a king size pillow top bed, good size room, great AC, decent breakfast, good desk service and it was very quite throughout. Wish we had been able to stay longer and we will be back!!
