We booked through Hotwire. The hotel is VERY dated. It's time to toss the polyester bedspreads. TV was a piece of junk. Air conditioned rattled and banged all night. The walls between the rooms are paper thin. We could hear the entire conversation next door and they were speaking in a normal tone. There are 3 Kelly Inns in Fargo. Make sure you are booking the right one. And YES there is a bar onsite but it is not near the actual hotel rooms so it didn't pose a problem. Hotwire stated this was a 3 star hotel. I would be hard pressed to give it a 2.

This place really needs an update. We arrived late, I had assumed it was a Best Western, didn't know the other BW Kelly Inn was down the road, but it was late and we have had good experiences with Kelly Inns in the past. The Manager was disputing an earlier review that said there is no bar, well, there is a casino/ lounge. I think thats what the reviewer was getting at. Anyway, the room was very outdated, didn't appear clean, it was basically shut your eyes for a few hours and get home! The lady in the breakfast room the next day was very friendly.

We stayed there for one night before flying off to LA. When I called to book for my daughter and I, the workers were kind of rude, but once we got there the other workers we met were really nice. The pool was really nice with a courtyard area. But there was a bar in the hotel right next to the pool and drunk people kept wondering over to the pool, which was weird... Our flight was so early in the morning that their bus wasn't running and so they payed for a taxi to take us to the airport whic was really nice of them. They also let us keep our car in the back of the parking lot for 3 weeks for no extra charge. The rooms were small, pretty clean. The bathroom was really small and had a weird door that didnt shut and the beds weren't that comfortable. The hotel is almost set up like a maze and its pretty big. But it was a good stay and everyone was pretty nice. TIP: Though you probably already know this, but book through expedia,or a site like that. We tried to book through the hotel itself but it was $100 more so we went with expedia.

Before we stayed here we checked the reviews and they were all good. After staying there we wonder who was writing these reviews. We got there late Friday night and it is attached to a bar so it was hard to find a parking spot. The room was something out of the 1970's which included the mattresses. Chairs were stained with who knows what and the room smelled (non-smoking). The fan in the room was loud and we weren't able to adjust the temp. There was also a loud dripping/tapping noise in the pipes in the wall that rarely stopped. My teenage son was also exposed to a couple in the room next to us enjoying the evening together. After the bar closed there were very loud people in the halls. All in all this was the worse hotel stay we have had in years. I don't know if I will believe reviews from Trip Advisor from here on out.
