“NO-NO & NO AGAIN!!!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 February 2011

I requested non smoking, main floor near pool if poss. I was given a foul smoke smelling room with an outdoor entrance onto a darkened courtyard. 20 feet of ice to try and get through on the sidewalk to my room door. I also would have had to go outside & around the building to go back in main entrance to go to the pool. I was a lone woman traveling, (which they knew) and I was told by the front desk clerk & manager to go elsewhere if I didn't want the room. I wish I had heeded the warnings & reviews on the different sites, but I thought I would give them a chance. Never again will I make that mistake!! I checked out and went elsewhere and was accomodated wonderfully and for almost the same price by another great hotel by the name of Sleep Inn.

“Don't ever stay there”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2011

We stayed at this motel because it is close to a hospital. I was with my mom and my 90 year old grandmother. When we checked in we had noted that someone had left the soup in the refrigerator but thought oh someone forgot to check. During the night the heater started to rattle and I had to get up and touch it to make it stop vibrating. It was very loud with many people entering/leaving the hotel sometime after 2:00 am. The next morning I was in the shower when I noted hair--that didn't belong to anyone in my family--along the back wall. Then I started really looking around...the vent in the bathroom was black with dirt. The back of the door to the bathroom was full of junk. The rim around the sink of the bathroom had old dirt..that was there for a long time. The blow dryer was full of dirt in the back and to top it off after we start talking about this, my grandma mentioned that she had thought someone else had been sleeping in her bed. We then went down for our free breakfast and were not given any choices...just told this is what they serve. We had powdered eggs, pink (gross) sausages and potatoes that were supposed to be hashbrowns but were more like cardboard. I did complain to the manager and he assured me that if I would have told him--when I am naked in the shower--they would have given me another room to shower in. This is more like a 30 dollar hotel..not a 85.00 hotel...I would not recommend this to anyone. Also they have signs that save they serve food but restaurant is open from 6-9 in the morning only.

“Good hotel for a cheap price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2011

I was happy with the hotel. My room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The rooms are a cheaper price so don't expect the rooms to be amazing. All I was looking for was clean and decent. The hotel was very quiet at night so I had no problems sleeping. The pool was really nice as well. The only complaint that I had was that some of the front desk staff did not speak English very well so it was hard to understand them very well, but it was not big deal.

“You get what you pay for...”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 September 2010

We got a medical rate at this place when my wife had surgery at a specialist near this hotel.

When I called to make the reservation I asked for a crib and was told, "No problem." When we checked in I asked again about a crib and was told, "I'll send one right up to you." An hour later when I called down to the front desk I was told, "We don't have any available. Sorry." This did not please me. Don't string me along if you don't have any cribs or only have a few of them.

The lobby was right next to the bar and the casino and was VERY noisy. It was hard to hear the front desk clerk. I was accosted by a drunk woman when I went to get ice (on a Wednesday night).

The room itself was old and dingy; but it was clean. The bathroom was mostly clean; though there was a dried out, smooshed, dead mosquito on the shower wall 6 inches above the faucet. We didn't find the beds to be comfortable (though that is a subjective thing).

It was nice to have a fridge and coffee maker in the room, though that's about the only nice thing I can say about this place. We got coupons for breakfast at the hotel restaurant but we had to be at the surgery center early and weren't able to try the breakfast.

The price was cheap, and so was the experience. I cannot recommend this place. Pay $5-$10 more and stay at a MUCH nicer chain hotel.

“Never Stay Here”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 June 2010

This hotel is not as described. Do not stay here. The front desk clerk did not speak any English, not to mention I booked for a 2 bed room and only got 1 bed. When asked for a 2 bed room, I was told none were available. The door to the room, the deadbolt did not lock, and there is no chain lock. The carpets are old and dirty. The toilet, I didn't know if it was going to flush or flow over because it fills up completely and drains so slowly. The sink filled with water when water ran, had to turn water off to get it to drain. The doors to the outside don't require a hotel key card to enter, anyone can walk in them. The tub was stained, didn't even attempt to shower in it. This hotel needs alot of work, regardless of it being under new management. First off they may want to get reservations correct, then hire front desk clerks that can speak English, then clean up this hotel ALOT! It is horrible. Not worth the 60 dollars a night.
