Location was very close to our hotel (Days Inn Fargo)- just a short 1 minute drive, is walking distance probably (10 minutes?) We were seated very quickly & tortilla chips + salsa materialized instantaneously on the table. (the chips were still warm!) Salsa was on the more watery side, but was tasty & had a bit of heat (much appreciated). We ordered combination type dishes- Acapulco combo- large dish, thin skirt steak had nice grilled flavours- don't expect medium rare to be done right- the meat is just to thin for them to cook it right- but is was tasty- deep fried burrito was tasty, refried beans weren't bad, spanish rice was ok, chile relleno had a thick egg omelet type coating and the pepper inside was mushy- haven't had very many of these- but this one didn't seem that memorable- flavours overall was OK, nothing spectacular. Other dish had a taco (average flavours), large pile of rice & refried beans, and 2 chimichangas I think... nothing too special, but quite edible. Prices were fair, about $10 per dish. Service was fast & courteous- they provided a large pitcher of water of the table- we always like that. They didn't have the dessert we wanted, so we ordered the fried icecream- not as good as the Paradiso version- coating not as crunchy, although we did taste honey in the drizzle on top.
Overall it was OK mexican food, the price was fair and the service was fast (beat waiting forever at Paradiso)- food quality wasn't that far off from Paradiso- so if you are looking for Mexican without the wait, this will probably be a good choice for you.
