I reserved a room with one queen bed for my daughter and myself. When we got to the hotel, I asked the front desk clerk if there was any way to upgrade to a room with 2 beds?
She said yes, but proceeded to book ANOTHER hotel room with 1 bed. What part of 2 beds did she not understand? I don't want 2 separate rooms . . . just 1 room with 2 beds. So then she said NO, they were sold out . . . no other rooms. So we agreed to take the room with 1 bed and deal with it since we were only staying 1 night anyhow. I just have to say, this was the smallest hotel room I've ever seen. Literally enough room for the bed and dresser and nothing else. It was even difficult to walk around the bed it was so cramped. The bathroom was equally cramped, but interestingly enough, it had an oversized shower stall (no tub). I think they could have devoted more room to the actual "room" itself and skipped the oversized shower. The only positives about this hotel were A) the location and B) the cont'l breakfast (although the breakfast area was extremely crowded). Also, I noticed that the carpets were pretty threadbare and/or stained throughout the property, including our room. Not impressed.
