“Okay value, but wouldnt stay again”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2011

Booked 2 single-bed rooms. Garbage can was unchanged from last tennants, still had their scrambled eggs in the basket. Rooms were otherwise clean. Rooms were very small, and sparsely equipped. Provided soap and shampoo were pathetically small. Wi-fi was above par, great signal everywhere. We were 2 couples, and quite disappointed that the table wasnt even big enough to play cards on. Bathroom had a standup shower, but no tub. Electrical outlets didn't provide enough juice to charge anything. My tablet refused to charge. Floors were creeky, we could hear our neighbour's footsteps. Location was great, close to lots of great shopping. Breakfast was good, enough selection to be above-par, coffee was par. Pool was very cold, and small. Hottub was great temp, but too small.

Room Tip: Floors and hallways on the upper floor are creeky. Downstairs seemed fine.

“Horrible stay”

Stayed here on a thursday and again on a saturday that same weekend. Have stayed in the past and always had good stays. This time out I booked the rooms 2 days earlier and let the staff know I had a coupon for a discount rate for both nights. On the thursday we arrived late and received a room right beside the breakfast area. We were woken up quite early by the noise and doors slamming also the bed was impossible to fall asleep in due to the queen being smaller than a double and unimaginably hard. When we arrived on the saturday we were at the hotel much earlier. When we checked in we were given a room in nearly the same location, we asked if we could change rooms and explained how we could not sleep the first night. The front desk said the hotel was completely booked even though the parking lot was much more empty than previously and remained so. We even checked online to see if there were rooms and there was availability still in spite of what we were told. We stayed in that room and to be honest did have a slightly better experience. The next day upon check out when we went to pay, the same desk person who honored our coupon the first night gave us a receipt that was ridiculously high for this type of hotel. For what the bill said we could have stayed at one of he newer nicer hotels nearby. We told the clerk that when we booked we stated we had a coupon and we had that coupon in hand, we were then told that it would not be honored and the manager would stand by that decision. After becoming upset at being told we would be paying almost 50% more than our agreed upon rate the manager did come out and told us coupons were only honored if presented at check in even though we clearly stated so upon reserving and did not have the same problem two nights earlier. In the end we did get the price that was promised during reservation but it was the worst experience overall we have had at any hotel.

“Great Place and easy to find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 September 2011

The Fargo Sleep Inn is just off I-90 in an area of hotels - easy to find. This was one of the first Sleep Inns, but looks updated and very nice. Our room had a refrigerator but no microwave. Plus the usual ironing board, etc. The room was clean, linens crisp and we had a good night's sleep. Price was reasonable.
The Breakfast bar was better than most - with eggs and make-your-own waffles.
The pool and spa were clean (pool towels available) and not crowded. Nice evening hours, too!

“Time for a remodelling”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 August 2011

We stayed here for a quick getaway for a couple of days. When we checked in the rate was not what we were quoted over the phone. The rooms are small but we've stayed here often over the years so we knew what we were getting. There's no fridge or microwave in the rooms but management has decided to invest in room safes (?). The air conditioner sounded like a jet engine, housekeeping did not deliver coffee to the room until asked and I killed a bug in the room. I've watched the hotel deteriorate over the years but prices keep climbing. The place really could use new carpeting, furnishings, etc. I'll spend a bit more next time and have a comfortable getaway at another hotel.

“Last stop before home”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 August 2011

Stayed at the Sleep Inn and was sort of impressed. I paid $83.00 and got a really comfy bed. The room was quite small, and right by the exit. The bathroom was a decent size with a large walk in shower. The disappointing factor of this hotel was that it shared a pool with the neighboring hotel. Other than that, it wasn't too bad.
