“A clean bare-bones property for the weary traveler.”

As far as Super 8 properties go, this is one of the nicer ones. Located directly on ND5 directly across a 24 hour Walmart, this is a quick, clean and comfortable place to spend a night. Although the property is relatively new, it has apparently just had a management change, a fact that was mentioned to me by several of the "locals" that I spoke with. I get the impression that the place may have had a troubled history.

The desk staff was very polite and courteous at both check-in and check out. The only complaint that I had with the property was that their wi-fi was awful.

“A good place to stay in Bottineau”

We stayed at the Super 8 Bottineau on Sep. 30, 2008. Our room was clean and satisfactory. The motel is well located with a Walmart across the street and a couple of restaurants nearby. The breakfast was satisfactory.

What a delight in finding a great Super 8. Cleanliness is always number one with us and this hotel was above average in every way. You are less than 20 miles from the Canadian border and it is close to any outdoor activity you would want to enjoy.

The motel staff were friendly - Breakfast was great - Our room was quiet and best of all CLEAN.

“Pleasant Stay”

We had limited options for lodging, while preparing to participate in a June wedding in the area.

We chose the Super 8 Motel in Bottineau as our "last resort." The location was perfect for our needs: We even had opportunity to get in nine holes of "golf " at Birchwood, near Lake Metigoshe. (the course was definitely challenging) Tommy Turtle bowling lanes were just down the road and a nice park for kids was right out back.

Turns out, the Super 8 Motel had a very helpful and friendly staff. Room was clean and comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was just right. (although I would recommend putting the exercise equipment into another area, where food was not being prepared.)

We had a very pleasant stay and are very thankful for having taken this option.
