I've been to a few Super 8's but this one seemed to be a lot more dingy than others. Also, when comparing it to other hotels in the area, this has the worst perks. We wanted to stay at the Comfort Inn because they offer a full hot breakfast (sausage, eggs, waffles) and they gave us some drink tickets at their adjoining lounge. For basically the same price, we got no drinks, no hot breakfast (only cereal, stale looking pastry, and old fruit), and a funny smelling room. I'm really not that picky but even a single waffle maker would have made this "breakfast" bearable! The free wireless was also a bit sketchy -- just couldn't connect to the weak signals.

The biggest kicker is how this hotel totally nickel and dime you. I noticed that there is a $1 charge for the convenience of having a safe in the room. I've seen this before and was quick enough to ask for it to be removed. What I didn't notice until I got to the room was a sign by the phone saying that you are charged 50 cents for HAVING a phone --not USING it, but just for the convenience of having the phone IN THE ROOM!!! Are they going to start charging us to have shampoo and water in the tap? How about coin operated toilets while you're at it? I wish there was a "zero" dot under "value".

It's best to give this place a pass and try some of the other locations in the area. (It looks like the other places offered semi-decent breakfasts). It might be a good value if it was the only hotel in town but compared to the other places, I was definitely not impressed.

No problems at all with our two night stay. Our room was clean, check-in and check-out were easy (they allowed us to check in early), and continental breakfast was adequate (although I don't know if anyone was available to wipe tables between guests, we just did a napkin sweep of our table). The shower had good water pressure; you know it's important! We were not bothered by noise other than doors slamming; when we were getting ready to leave in the morning we tried to be careful. Our TV needed replacement; everyone was an oranger shade of orange. Bismarck has lots of restaurants and is easy to find your way around in. The parking lot wasn't huge but not a problem.

Stayed at the Super 8 Bismarck in order to catch an early flight the next day. Check in wasn't smooth, staff was slow and worried about other things. The rooms weren't overly clean or fancy. The bright spot of this hotel is the location as it is just off highway 83, very easy to find. Lots of restaurants close by to choose from. We stayed here due to price and probably won't go back.

Grungy - slept in my traveling clothes because the room was unkept - not clean. No shampoo in bathroom. Wished I had flip flops to take a shower cause the bathtub was not sanitary appearing at all. If it hadn't been so late, we would have kept looking. But after 4 hours of sleep, we left.
