We were impressed with the cleanliness of this motel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is the usual fare. Bismarck is not that big so it is easy to find.

Had a 2 day stay here last weekend and I rate this hotel quite highly.Excellent location just a block or so from the Kirkwood mall so the kids can go to the mall while Dad stays and watches college football.
Good free breakfast provided and right next to McDonalds,Perkins,groceryand liquor stores as well.
The TV's are in real high def not some flatscreen with colored snow so top marks there!
Only complaint the maids didn't appear to overdo it on our sat morning cleaning, but overall clean quiet and new facility in excellent location Would reccomend to all weekend shoppers and travellers

Stayed here with my two young children and my mom at the beginning of August. The hotel is quite new, and has a nice buffet breakfast with a few hot items including freshly made waffles. Excellent service, clean and convenient.
The highlight for my kids was the pool. Small but fine, as well as a little hottub too. Right beside a grocery store, and close to a couple playgrounds and parks. Only downside, no wall or door between sleeping areas in a king suite so it's not great for putting kids down on one side if you want to stay up longer. Once the tv and lights are off one side... they have to be on the other. I would have preferred a more divided layout with a second tv.

On a recent trip to Bismarck, I took the advice of a co-worker and checked into the Fairfield Inn and Suites Bismarck South. I am glad that I did. After staying at another hotel in the area, this hotel was a delight. Not only was the room clean and smelled fresh, the staff went out of their way to arrange for me keep a room even though the hotel had been anticipating a full house.
I recommend this hotel with no reservations.

We arrived here pretty late at night and were greeted by a friendly receptionist who quickly booked us into a king suite. The suite was spacious and had obviously been recently updated. The pull out couch was perfectly comfortable and we enjoyed the large flat screen TV. The only complaint was that we had some issues with the temperature and would have preferred to have another blanket available for the pull out couch as it got very cold at night. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel but the included buffet looked like it would have been perfectly good.
