I've stayed at this property several times, both alone and with relatives. I last stayed there in April 2011. It is located in downtown Winston-Salem. The rooms are always neat and clean. The staff are friendly, and the complimentary breakfast (6 - 9 am) has a variety of items. The one negative exception I had with the staff was when someone at the front desk tried to run my card for a rate that was too high, even after I verified the correct rate with him. However, later on I spoke to a manager who corrected the rate. The parking lot is across the street from the property and it is in an enclosed structure. If you are returning to your room after dark, it can be a little scary.

I would recommend this hotel to others, especially if you have business in downtown Winston-Salem.

I have a well-behaved dog, house-broken, quiet--sleeps most of the time. The $50 fee per night is completely unreasonable. I won't stay again.

We only stayed one night, but our rooms was clean and the staff was very willing to help. The hotel isn't far from downtown, so that is very convenient. The parking is across the street in a garage, which can be a bit confusing at first.

Booked this hotel for a quick getaway from home. Very convenient location. Staff was helpful and kind. Rooms were well kept and the free breakfast was enjoyable . Only disappointment was they were out of waffle batter for the waffles which my husband was really looking forward to.
