Booked via Wyndham website using Entertainment Card code for around 71$ a night, for 2 nights. Arrived after midnight, but was greeted warmly by the night staff. The room was huge but on the old side. Good king bed, CRT TV with a trigger happy remote (i just brushed the button and the channels would start going up by 2 and 3s...not good). The bathroom was clean but the sink taps were not installed properly so they swivelled with no stops...furthermore, I only had hot water! This was fixed but the cold water was still lukewarm (the ice came in handy).
The hotel is a bit far from the downtown for walking, and they dont offer a shuttle service (access by car was complicated by a couple of street being shut down for construction). There is a dinky gym with noisy ellipticals, not smooth at all. There is a small Jacuzzi which I didnt see anyone use during my stay.
The saving grace of this place was the breakfast, typical 2.5 star with waffles, sausage sandwiches, toasts, yogurts, fruits, and plastic wrapped industrial sweets.
Free parking is available across the street, and I noted no strange characters there.
Overall, this was not bad, but this hotel is need of a bit of TLC.
