This is one of the greatest chain hotel rooms we've ever had, and the rate we received was fantastic. We took a chance, not having stayed in a La Quinta for many years, as we were staying only one night to visit friends. The room was quite spacious with a wonderful coffee cabinet and very pleasant furnishings. We're sorry there aren't more La Quinta in areas we usually go to.

The hotel itself was quite pleasant, with courteous staff. We were impressed with all of it, but especially the room.

Stayed one night while traveling through Carolina. Great hotel at a great price. Rooms were big and modern, newly updated. Bed was comfy. Only complaint was the breakfast. They had one worker stocking the breakfast area on a busy Sat. morning. She could not keep up the pace. Food was running out, coffee out, plates, cups. When I told the worker about it, she gave me attitude. I ended up just eating out for breakfast. I emailed supervisor and she responded very quickly and apologized and said it was her fault for not having adequate staff. All in all I would still stay here again.

My husband and I had to be in Winston-Salem for a family event and stayed two weekend nights at La Quinta because of the low rate and location. Everything about our stay was pleasant. Big, clean, well-appointed room, recently renovated. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Location is excellent with proximity to restaurants, shopping and interstate.

This hotel was chosen for us since we were booking through a service for a soccer tournament. When I go to hotels with the soccer team I don't set my expectations high. I go with the flow and it is what it is. I was nicely surprised and can say that it was better than the Courtyard Marriott we stayed at in Richmond for a different soccer tournament a few weeks ago. And it was much cheaper. The rooms are quite large and the bathrooms were large and clean. The towels were NOT thin and overused. They had a sign that said they were in the process of remodeling but I didn't see any construction. The only thing I can complain about was the outside traffic noise that I heard during the night. So if you stay here ask for a room, not on the road side. Our team had an early game on Saturday morning and so they opened their breakfast bar a 1/2 hour early to accommodate our team.
There are lots of restaurants in the area, but you don't have to go far to find a fabulous place to eat. Right next door is the Village Tavern and the food was excellent.
