My husband and I were in Wilson for about 5 weeks on business, and had the pleasure of staying at Candlewood suites. It turned out to be one of the best places we had ever stayed. Our suite had everything we needed with a nice kitchenette, clean comfortable beds, and it gave us the feeling of being at home. Another nice feature is their onsite laundry facility (free) adjoined to a neat fitness room. We found the location wonderful, with 4 restaurants within walking distance, a super Wal-mart, nice mall , and Harris Teeter within half a mile in either direction. And last, but certainly not least, is the warm welcome you get from the staff. Everyone is so friendly, helpful, and do everything they can to make you stay as pleasant as possible. We will definitely be staying with them again when we are in that area, and will recommend them highly to everyone. A special "thanks" to our new friends there for doing all they could to make us happy!!!

Stayed here for 1 night while traveling up 95 with my 2 small dogs.
It's about 5 miles off 95 in a busy shopping area walking distance to Texas Road House,Applebee's and others.
The check in was a breeze and the room was very clean and the bed very comfortable.It is so new that the sink looked like it was never even used.The microwave and a bag of popcorn ready to be popped!
The fitness center had all new treadmills and eliptical machines.
The only down side was that they do not have an ice machine and my refrigerator did not make enough ice to fill a ziplok bag and they do not offer breakfast or coffee. Although there are plenty places to eat breakfast nearby.

We evacuated from the Outer Banks of North Carolina for Hurricane Irene, and were so pleased to have been able to get a room in a hotel that was so comfortable, well furnished, and pet friendly. We were delighted to find a kitchen with full size refrigerator & all the basic essentials for us to cook for ourselves without having to go out in the storm. There was free wi-fi for Internet, cable TV, DVD (with movies you can borrow), an exercise room, and even a small canteen for purchasing some supplies. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and showed tremendous grace under pressure... putting their own families and homes aside for their sense of responsibility to provide services to the hotel filled with anxious evacuees. We were grateful to all & would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff is so sweet,helpful and acommodating. They dont ignore you and are always smiling and aproachable. The room was so comfy, they have a place, like a tiny convinient store that is cheap and are easy to get snacks,microwave meals, shavers, laundry detergent, coffee even ice cream. Also free use of the laundry room! they also have a gym and pool. awesome for the price.
