Just wanted say that this is a well kept secret in Wilson, NC. We usually stay at my families when visiting this little town, but decided to give this hotel a try. To our surprise this is a great place to lay your head. Great Hot Breakfast, Nice and Friendly Employees, and very Clean Rooms. The manager on Duty (Ms. Jenkins) Was a pleasure to deal with. Very pleasant attitude along with her employees.

We will definitely Stay again!

Stayed here using Priority Club points on Nov. 22 en route to Hilton Head Island. I was only looking for a good night's sleep off of 95 but found so much more. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Upon check-in , as Priority Club members, we received bottles of water and bags of Goldfish for our son. I thought that the hotel was pretty new but was informed that it was over 10 years old. The hotel lobby and corridor were impeccably clean and looked recently renovated. Our room had pillow-top mattresses, a variety of pillows, a mini-fridge and coffee maker. The hotel has many chain and local restaurants along the road from 95 to downtown Wilson. We slept extremely well and awoke refreshed. At the free breakfast, the attendant was very helpful supplying fresh bacon, assorted breads, fruit , hard boiled eggs and crisp bacon. The attendant noticed that our son enjoyed the cinnamon rolls and offered to wrap some up for our drive. In checking out, the desk clerk gave us some more bags of Goldfish for our journey. From arrival to departure, this was a great experience that will make me happy to drive four miles off of 95 to receive great service in the future.

We received superior service from all the staff...from the front desk check-in to the breakfast hostess. Everyone and I mean everyone was extraordinary in customer service and attention given. We received a bereavement rate at this HI Express in Wilson, which was one third off the AAA rate. There is an actual business center in a separate room...not out in the open like so many of these mid priced hotels are doing nowadays. The breakfast bar was better than most in the Wilson area (food taste fresher, hostess actually liked her job, and the television in the breakfast bar was not turned to the irritating, controversial, and negative news channel that I've observed on way too many occasions in the south...). The fitness center was adequate...and the temperature was too cool/rainy to use the small outdoor pool. Fast food chains and the main medical center are within walking distance.
