We stayed in this hotel and there was mold in the shower, a bugar on the wall, and a poop stain on the sheets. The manager told us that she would refund our whole stay. Later that day they CHARGED OUR CARD THREE TIMES WITHOUT ANY AUTHORIZATION and we still do not have that money back. They are a bunch of con-artists. DO NOT NEVER EVER FOREVER STAY HERE!!!!!!!

My husband, grandson and I checked into this hotel tonight. We were greeted by Tausha, the desk clerk, who was most friendly and helpful. We got up to our room and after a few minutes I noticed a smoky smell in the room and my eyes started burning. We had requested a non-smoking room and I had not taken the time to notice that there was not a non-smoking sign on the door. When I sat down at the computer, I noticed an ashtray on the counter. My husband called down to the desk and explained the situation. We were afraid that nothing could be done because the hotel was full of softball teams here for a tournament. However, Tausha said she had a single available with a rollaway, which suited us fine. By the time my husband got to the elevator, she met him on our floor with the rollaway and we were settled in our new room in less than 10 minutes! We were most impressed! The room is clean and comfy and we are looking forward to our visit to the battleship tomorrow morning. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Wilmington! Thanks for being so accomodating!

Stayed at this establishment for 2 nights. Clean. Good location. Staff could not have been more helpful or accomodating. Decent sized outdoor pool. TWO waffle makers, and breakfast included had pints of milk and boxes of raisins and sausage biscuits. Would most definitely return, and recommend. Comfortable rooms. Ate at a seafood restaurant about 2 blocks away - it was fabulous - recommended by young man working at desk (night shift) - HIERONYMUS. Indoor dining and an outside patio. Ate at a casual place - CAUSEWAY CAFE in Wrightsville Beach which a local suggested. Great food - lunch or breakfast. No credit cards - check or cash.

CONS: -was not greeted when i walked in the doors with my luggage
-housekeeping staff knocks on the doors waayyy too early. Check-out time is at 11am and travelers should be able to enjoy every paid minute.
