“Best HGI ever!”

The best Hilton Garden Inn I have ever stayed in and there have been a few. It’s still pretty new and close to the newer shopping and living district Mayfaire Common. This was my third stay here. I was early for check in and so the room originally chosen for me was not ready. They gave me another one promptly which - against the preferences in my HHonors-profile - was directly at the elevator. As I was in a hurry and there were no immediate noises I decided to give it a chance and left for the rest of the afternoon. I have to admit I never heard a single noise from that elevator and slept well as always in their sleepnumber beds. It must be really nicely insulated. I love the breakfast crew in this hotel, really friendly and welcoming. You get breakfast cooked to order and their omelets are wonderful. As a Gold member I get breakfast for free but I would say it's worth the extra pay if you aren't. Will be back whenever I'm in town, that’s a promise!

Room Tip: No special tip as all rooms are nice here.

“Great Hotel”

This is my first visit to the Garden Inn at Mayfaire, and my experience is superb. Eric & Heath are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious,comfortable and clean.The hotel location is very close to nearby restaurants and the beach!!! I would highly recommend staying here again.

“Better than home”

The Garden Inn at Mayfaire is one of my flavor places to stay. They always treat me like I'm family and they always make sure that everything is as enjoyable as possible. I'm in Wilmington 5 or 6 times a year and each time Bryon that works the front desk always remembers my name and goes out of his way to make sure all is well. I wish all of my travel stays were as accommodating.

“visitnig our daughters living in the area”

We have stayed at the Garden Inn in Wilmington at least 10 times since we have two daughters living in the area. We love it & it has come to the point where my husband & i will say when we see the Hilton, "we're home"! The rooms are lovely, comfortable,clean & spacious. The staff is so friendly & very helpful. We enjoy & use the pool & work out area. The breakfast & food is very good. We love the complimenary cookies at the front desk & the 2 complimentary bottle waters when we check in, also enjoy the complimentary USA daily newspaper. We always reccommend the Hilton to our friends.
