Came from Ohio to get away with girlfriend for a relaxing wknd. We got into the room and the comforter had cigarette burns in it. The shower was nasty also. Woke up with a bedbug on me. When my girlfiend saw a mice, I was done. We didnt stay another night. The upside was the manager was pleasant and apologized and refunded my money.

We have just moved here to Wilmignton and this was the only place that took pets .As soon as we pulled in you could tell the place was a dump.But we were desprate and figured at least the rooms would be cean how wrong we were. The room was disgusting , the curtain was fallen off , the lamp shade was all torn and fallen off the fixture. There was a big hole in the wall. Internet was basically trash you could connect but it kept saying no internet access. The shower didn't drain at all and it took them three hours to fix the problem.The manager is rude and you can complain all you want he won't do nothing about it.We had orginally booked a stay here for a week until we could find a place . We ended up calling a friend to keep our dog for us for a little while and returned to this dump canceled the rest of our stay at this hell hole got our money back and moved to the Value Place Inn while we look for a home. I have read the reviews on this place and I find it hard to believe that there are any positive reviews here at all . The place is old ,rundown and filthy. Stay away from this dump unless you enjoy paying almost 400.00 a week to stay at this trashy place. And as for the area being safe . There were all kinds of shady characters hanging out in the parking lot all night. No it wasn't a safe place at all.

Even though we already had a paid reservation, we pulled into the parking lot and both said "There's no way I'm staying here." It was very rundown looking and shady looking characters were hanging out in the parking lot.

I am surprised that the health department in Wilmington allows this hotel to remain in business. It was one of the most repulsive places I've been to (see attached pics).
I booked this property online and it does not look like it does in the site's pictures. I also have a hard time believing that the positive reviews of this place are real. Clean? Renovated? Absolutely not.
The first room they gave me was just run down and disgusting. I asked if they had any better. They showed me four other rooms -- they were all as gross as the first. In the fourth room, I pointed out the filth, and they said they'd have housekeeping clean "again". This is when the story gets really amazing -- the housekeeper did a once over and asked me to look again. I had to SHOW her the dirty toilet, the mold, the toothpaste in the sink, and everything else. She took a spray bottle and dry rag into the room and came out five minutes later. The mold was still there, the dirt was still there, the TOOTHPASTE was still there. She went and got her supervisor, who told me that "those things don't come out". I had to take the rag from her and show her that they did. So then the two of them start cleaning....and after eight minutes they emerge. There is still mold on the faucet, in the bath, on the floor....and there's still debris on the floor because they never vacuumed.
Burn stains in the bedding.
Plastic covered mattresses.
I felt dirty just sitting there.
And while all this is going on, some guy in the parking lot is threatening to beat up his girlfriend, and another guy is hanging over the balcony yelling obscenities to his friends.
I got out of there, and would recommend that you don't even try it. Unless you like squalor.
